Carta Varese calls this their "Fantasy" paper line, and we can see why. The intricately printed, beautiful patterns are a fantasy come true. These papers can only be found in Italy and we are very fortunate to be able to offer them in the United States. Designs are printed on 100gsm laid paper that is acid free. Printed using high-definition sheet-fed offset technology. This technique ensures incredibly vivid colors, sharp graphics, and superior durability—the print will neither fade nor crack when folded. Exclusive graphic designs are transferred onto the laid-textured surface using state-of-the-art sheet-fed offset printing presses. This technique allows the inks to penetrate deeply and uniformly into the micro-reliefs of the laid texture, ensuring exceptionally sharp graphics and vivid colors. As these patterns sell out, they are often not reprinted unless Carta Varese gets enough requests for a single design. This limited quantity makes the papers all the more special. These are ideal for bookmaking, book covers, and end papers. Also wonderful for collage, origami, and all paper arts.
Sheets measure 19x27 inches and are imported from Italy.
